With domestic adoption (which was Peter's adoption) you never know for sure if you will be picked. Consequently, we were unprepared for his arrival and his room was never decorated until he was 4. While international adoption is never a sure thing either, it has track record that makes the adoptive parent more secure. Knowing that our daughter was on her way gave me goosebumps and heart flutters and let me dream of the day she would be in my arms.

You baby is on their way, I just know it! :) By the way, my Yahoo group friend gave her daughter the nickname "Chip" so it could happen either way! Here's to 2009 and your baby coming home!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10014999447222122396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2417966621715431111.post-51780125581009409862009-01-21T10:05:00.000-05:002009-01-21T10:05:00.000-05:00Hello tears! Reading your description of 'feeling' your little one in the room that is intended for him/her gave me goosebumps...the extra good kind! :)

Beautiful post, apt descriptions, love the humor sprinkled in and so so much love & hope for good measure!!

I like the idea of being in a place where you are ready to accept all that comes with another little one. The adjustments, the changes, the joys, the magic, the unexpected bliss that each child brings to the family dynamic! How lucky we all are!!

I think this nudge from Karma is a certain sign that when your call does arrive ( and I KNOW its sooner than later!!) you will be ready for ALL the splendor it will bring with it!

I'm so excited for you.....and please tell Simone that "Chip" has a very manly and nice ring to it!
:)
I owe you a real note...I do promise more when I dig my way out of this past weekend & the company!
Hugs,
LisaLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13185447510541745836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2417966621715431111.post-3476091890708933282009-01-19T19:20:00.000-05:002009-01-19T19:20:00.000-05:00Jennifer, Congratulations on your ah ha moment.
